MILK AND HONEY


Green. White. Green. 
Colours that depict wealth, rich natural resources, peace and unity. The giant of Africa with a population of over 200 million people who are strong, determined and intelligent. World changers, I call them.
This is NIGERIA- The land flowing with milk and honey.

Why are you laughing? Oh! You're part of 'team japa' right? 

Nigeria turned 60 on the 1st of October, 2020. 60 years of Independence from colonial administration. However, the events that followed this eventful day revealed the defects and issues that have eaten deep into the country.

The Youths gathered for a change in Nigeria. People tweeted, discussed, argued, protested, prayed! for a new Nigeria. Some even lost their lives in the process. 😪 

But where did the milk and honey go? Why does it seem like Nigeria is irreparable and the only solution is to JAPA( leave and never return)? Everyone says corruption is deeply rooted in the country and we have bad leaders. How long will we continue to move in circles- from one corrupt leader to the other?
Many have settled in their minds that this country 'na cruise'. Some don't even want to be associated with Nigeria and have started claiming another country. What's yours? Canada?...hehehe!



The truth is we all want Nigeria to be great. We desire a country we will be proud of. Imagine a Nigeria without these issues, where things WORK and are well organized. Where people plan to JAPA to permanently reside in Nigeria.

Don't write Nigeria off. The milk and honey may seem non-existent but realise that Nigeria will be great again! Be positive about Nigeria and the transformation that can and will take place. And yes, PRAY FOR NIGERIA and for God fearing leaders who would consider their positions as a calling and not an opportunity to amass wealth. 

I believe in a new Nigeria flowing with milk and honey and no matter how long it takes, Nigeria will be great AGAIN!

 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will HEAL THEIR LAND.

I'M BACK!

2021 has been an eventful year so far! I know it's been a minute. Errrrr, maybe more than a minute. It's been 11 weeks!😂😂😂  I resumed in January 2021 to complete my training at the Nigerian Law School. The pandemic extended the academic calendar and so, I had to use the remaining time judiciously. Rounded off my bar exams last week. Thank God for everything, honestly. I. AM. BACK. 😊 Watch out for amazing and inspiring contents on academics, faith, and lifestyle. I have plans to share my academic journey from the University to Law School with you especially the lessons I learnt and tips I believe will be helpful for undergraduates and aspirants to the Nigerian Bar and so many other amazing contents.                       I love music. I think that is an interesting fact about me because no day passes without music being a major part of my 24 hours. I have a thing for lyrics and beats too. Once it blesses, edifies and inspires me, there’s a playlist for it. Some days ago, my entire last added playlist rearranged itself. I was like “who sent this one message” at the beginning because, my newly downloaded songs were lost in the crowd of my very long list. But, I realized that some of the songs I was seeing were my jams back in the day.  It’s a cycle.
