#FaithSeries: Grace that Amazes

Image
Greg smiled as he remembered the good old days. His friends used to describe his head with creative words in secondary school because to them, his head was not the regular size. He couldn’t even argue with anybody. It is what it is. Those days were the real deal.  Being a Managing Director of one of the top companies in East Africa was a great achievement for him. He had won several awards for his contribution to the Tech space and was doing well for himself. But there was always this void that could never be filled. No matter how successful he was, he never felt fulfilled. There was something missing. Then, he met Grace. She was this calm and beautiful young lady he met at the coffee shop. As he stepped into the coffee shop to grab a cup of cappuccino that morning, he realized he had forgotten his wallet in the car. He had a long night preparing for a meeting with the Board of Directors and could hardly get enough rest and that made him clumsy and unsettled....

#YoursTruly01: ‘REUNION’

She thought.  As she got ready for work, she received calls from her parents and friends. It was a beautiful moment. On her way to work that morning, she listened to her favourite song and reflected on her life’s journey. There was a time when there was no joy and she would cry herself to sleep every night. She laughed as she remembered how she overcame that. God always comes through.  As she arranged the files for the day, she reflected on her achievements so far, the growth, the decisions she had to make and the hurdles and challenges she had experienced. "Birthday girl! How are you doing?" Gabby, her colleague and best friend said, bringing her back to reality. “I’m ecstatic o! Thinking about the journey so far has really made me realise how God has been faithful to me. Plus, there’s room f...
