2021 has been an eventful year so far! I know it's been a minute. Errrrr, maybe more than a minute. It's been 11 weeks!😂😂😂  I resumed in January 2021 to complete my training at the Nigerian Law School. The pandemic extended the academic calendar and so, I had to use the remaining time judiciously. Rounded off my bar exams last week. Thank God for everything, honestly. I. AM. BACK. 😊 Watch out for amazing and inspiring contents on academics, faith, and lifestyle. I have plans to share my academic journey from the University to Law School with you especially the lessons I learnt and tips I believe will be helpful for undergraduates and aspirants to the Nigerian Bar and so many other amazing contents. I think the appropriate question at this point is:    Thank you for saying YES! Pheyy. 🤗

WE MOVE

2020! Quite an unprecedented year. I am sure you have stories and experiences that shaped your life this year. I do too. Alot. For some, 2020 was a roller coaster. One minute everything was 'normal', the next minute, there's a pandemic that makes you think twice before hugging your neighbour and which declares a face mask an essential 'accessory'. These persons focused on taking one day at a time because of the unprecedented nature of the year. For others, 2020 was the year of their dreams. They were able to implement plans and achieve their goals. The lockdown helped them reflect on their lives and take the necessary steps in the right direction. Did you  just say 'abegggi'?...hold on! Irrespective of how 2020 was for you; good,  bad, 'in between' (yes, this category definitely exists), accept the fact that we can not go back to January 2020 to change things or re-start the year. The only option is to MOVE forward. Now, in mo...

MILK AND HONEY

Image
Green. White. Green.   Colours that depict wealth, rich natural resources, peace and unity. The giant of Africa with a population of over 200 million people who are strong, determined and intelligent. World changers, I call them. This is NIGERIA- The land flowing with milk and honey. Why are you laughing? Oh! You're part of 'team japa' right?  Nigeria turned 60 on the 1st of October, 2020. 60 years of Independence from colonial administration. However, the events that followed this eventful day revealed the defects and issues that have eaten deep into the country. #ENDSARS #EndPoliceBrutality #LekkiMassacre #EndBadGovernance The Youths gathered for a change in Nigeria. People tweeted, discussed, argued, protested, prayed! for a new Nigeria. Some even lost their lives in the process. 😪  But where did the milk and honey go? Why does it seem like Nigeria is irreparable and the only solution is to JAPA( leave and never return)? Everyone says corruptio...

#YoursTruly03: OLD PLAYLIST

Image
I love music. I think that is an interesting fact about me because no day passes without music being a major part of my 24 hours. I have a thing for lyrics and beats too. Once it blesses, edifies and inspires me, there’s a playlist for it. Some days ago, my entire last added playlist rearranged itself. I was like “who sent this one message” at the beginning because, my newly downloaded songs were lost in the crowd of my very long list. But, I realized that some of the songs I was seeing were my jams back in the day.  It’s a cycle. The least played song on your playlist was once the song on repeat and there was a time when that song resonated with your entire being.                 Infact some songs reminded me of some challenges I had passed through at a particular phase of my life. What about the ones that were always on repeat during study ...
